Interesting fact: The name of the fruit comes from the word "maanga" (from Malayalam, one of the 22 hindu dialects and an official language of the Kerali region), distorted by the Portugese to "manga".

I'm actually learning Portuguese, myself. Not really STUDYING. Just watching English movies with Portuguese subtitles for the vocabulary and referring to youtube tutorials for grammar and phonology (which I'm fascinated by!). And yeah, I know, I know, "chico y chica" is actually Spanish :) It's just a catchy title!
