And finally, the moment that everyone has been waiting for! He’s finally here! Of course, you all already knew that if you read my comic notes during my guest strip run, and/or follow me on twitter, as I’ve been posting pictures of him quite often in there :)

I don’t want to get too much into all that happened during the labor, because I could probably tell stories for DAYS. But I will say one thing: you know contractions hurt when the doctors went to hook up the epidural into my wife’s spinal column, and she said that that hurt less than the contractions! Needless to say the doctors had me sit in a corner while they did that. I was freaking a bit watching it, and my wife’s back was away from me! I’m a weenie.

After all of that though, I can say that I will never again call my wife a wimp or anything like that after everything she went through before, during, and after childbirth. She is honestly the most amazing person I know, and I will never forget it.



(P.S. Today (April 7th) is totally my birthday. So how fitting that I post this today! :D )

@Hinata fan: haha actually yes! The time we got into the hospital was dependent on how many beds they had available so that labor could be induced. People who were actually *in* labor took priority, so we had to wait a while for a bed to finally be freed up :)

@DarkGesen: lol nah, I think she was just happy that *someone* was being nice to them in the hospital. Apparently they had been getting angry phone calls from people all day who were waiting to be induced. :)
