Ian Glover decided to follow his heart and slay them all, well zombies we know are braindead and never will be able to make any decision, and when they start sniffing meat, that's the end of any discussion. And Dr Zombie did't really set an exact timing, so the towers collapse, let see if Ian Glover could survived it, it is predictable to see a hero survived… I know sometime a hero do get killed.
