55. Chapter 03: Episode 11: Rescue Attempt

Lucca was pretty badass in Chrono's dream.

Okay, so I wanted to explain why I made the last few comics a dream sequence. I realize a lot of people don't like dream sequences, but I had a good reason.

In the game, there are two options when you get thrown into prison. One is where you wait out the sentence and they take you to the guillotine and Lucca rescues you (seen here, obviously). I think I've only seen this once. I had read about it and decided to see it for myself.

The second option is what I normally do and that's what we're about to see. I'd explain it, but I'm going to let those of you who haven't seen the other option see it in the comic.

So when I was writing this chapter, I decided that I wanted to show both and it wouldn't make sense unless one was a dream sequence. Of the two, this one made a better dream sequence.
