For some reason, I thought Chrono and Marle's obtaining of magic looked like Lucca's. Such as, Chrono gets hit by lightning, but then I watched a video of a walkthrough and saw these effects and so all that time I wasted hunting down the effects were wasted because they were different.
And I ended up having Chrono and Marle's effects on my harddrive and Lucca's weren't that hard to find…so yeah…time wasted.
Though, that does mean I'm up a creak without a paddle when it comes to Marle and Lucca doing magic. (I can fake it with fire, actually with Lucca, but I don't know about the ice.) I eventually did find Chrono's lightning after I realized it wasn't lightning here.
