There is a certain method to beating Magus, but they won't be figuring it out for a few comics.
While bad guys in games are supposed to get progressively harder, I wanted to make Magus one of the hardest bosses up to this point and beyond. Afterall, he's the mid-game boss. Probably only outclassed in this comic by Lavos. That doesn't mean the other bosses won't be a challenge, though.
