This is the comic where I sat and thought "Okay, I need them to go to the Zeal Palace, but I can't just send them there because it looks so much like the library."So you get exposition as to why. In the game, it's just that the scholars talk about it a bunch and you just decide to go. I mean, they mention the palace, but you pretty much just go because there's a whole lot of nothing to do in the library.
