I like to think of different ways for the group to defeat bosses that's related to their abilities…and this is the easiest boss to figure out.
The golem can also copy one of Dalton's moves which on the DS version is labeled "BUUUURP." I don't remember if it's in the translation on the PS1 or SNES.
