Sorry for the late update, ice storm knocked out my internet for a while. It's back now.
I couldn't resist this joke. Lavos's second form looks to much like Cell from DBZ. It shouldn't be a surprise to anime fans out there since Akira Toriyama, the mangaka that created Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, was the character designer for Chrono Trigger. It's not that hard to tell. You look at the artwork for the game and they look like DBZ characters.
