Short Bio of James Drown:
Authoritatively described by Soulbard magazine as churchman music's all-time No.1 songster, James Drown was a performer of deep and breathtaking songs. He will be remembered as a vibrant vocalist to those who followed him and as one of the most stylish soul singers ever.

James Drown, King of Soul, was born on July 20, 1929. He died of lung failure on Churchmas Day, 2008, aged 79.
