Yes, boys and girls, this marks our one hundredth Civil Servitude episode! And it seems like only yesterday I was griping about not having a constructive outlet for all my pent up work-related angst!

So, yes, this is a major milestone for me! I've been working towards this goal since day one, and now it's here before I even realized. Jeesh, they grow up so fast these days - it seems like just yesterday I was changing Miller's diapers (Depends, the adult diaper. Miller likes to wear them when he's out on a drunken twelve-day bender).

But all joking aside, I am proud to have made it thru 100 episodes of Bluff City BS and general absurdity. And we have all of you, our faithful readers, to thank for getting this far. If it wasn't for your eyeballs looking over our cartoon, we'd have no reason to exist - other than to act as a constructive outlet for all my pent up work-related angst!

So, yeah, even if you weren't reading Civil Servitude I'd still probably be doing this, if for no other reason than to keep myself from going postal in the workplace. But the cartoon would be much darker, and not very funny, and I bet lots of people would get shot, maimed, or killed in each episode, and they'd probably look very similar to people I actually work with who drive me nuts and make my work life a living Hell sometimes, and I'd probably use their real names and probably pick out specific methods of execution for each one and then write all kinds of demented cartoons where I killed each person for whatever atrocities they'd committed that week and …

Yeah, a hundred episodes. And I've never felt better about going in to work in each morning … unarmed!

As always, thanks (really!) for reading! (wipes tear from corner of eye).

If only we could ALL look as good as Miller at 100!
