Curling '10

There's just something about curling that fascinates me. I think its more than another, palatable token of my possible Scottish ancestry, I'm a pure breed American Mutt, so anything is up for grabs. Its just a weird little game that looks like it came out of a bar bet. I haven't lived in a city NEAR a curling club, but I think if I ever do, I'll at least try it out. I mean, for little sports like curling and Roller Derby, its the little people who come and sample and develop a taste for it that pushes it on. The guy who shows up every once in a while and is always on the starter squad, if that, might be the biggest fan of your club, or draws in that future starter because he talked about how cool it was and it struck a cord with someone. Never underestimate the little guy.
