3 - Jai Alai

I love all sports.  Seriously, I even tried very hard to get into Twenty20 cricket.  But jai alai has always eluded me.  The only websites covering jai alai look like they were designed in the mid 90's and apparently, it's only played at dog racing tracks in Florida.
There's a jai alai game in the opening montage to Miami Vice, and it looks like it could be fun.  But how do you even get into jai alai?  I mean, is there a secret handshake?
