Eric is being pretty rude here, quite aside from the fact that his memory is so crap regarding people that he forgot the gender of one of their friends. In his defence, Matt keeps in touch with people. Wait, that's not a very good defence, it just makes Eric look crappier. Who's the protagonist of this comic, anyway? Get your act together, Eric!
Anyway, I struggled to fit everything that I wanted to onto this page, so the dialogue feels kind of awkward and truncated in places. This started to make it clear to me that copying the rough layout from the old comic wasn't leaving me enough pages in enough spaces to do what I wanted, so I drew up a plan for the rest of this chapter and shuffled stuff around till it works.
Lastly, yes, I'm aware that with this art style most people's genders aren't readily distinguishable anyway. I'm anime trash.
