On the subject of the car; Matt owns it. Eric has a license and drives it occasionally, but prefers not to. He has, however, saved Matt a small fortune in repair bills over the years. As we see here, Robin also can drive, and does so on those occasions when her friend has sliced his own hand open with a remote-controlled robot while trying to get it to make a sandwich.
