Eric is really not very gung-ho about fighting, so I wanted, at least on this one occasion, to demonstrate that Red Special can potentially just rip people apart with buzzsaws.

In other news, by some versions of The Plan, this is the halfway point of the comic! Weird. See, the original Plan was to have it go for the same length and cover some of the same bases as Coga Suro, my old comic, which went to 300 pages. That plan's already been derailed somewhat, since we had stuff like the extra Hallowe'en pages, and I may well tack on more extras, or extend the story past 300 pages if I feel like it later. This arc wasn't even in the plan at the start of this volume; I just got to thinking, theoretically, what would happen if Eric was controlled and the others had to fight him, then realised that was a pretty sensible way to restore BB's body, so I dropped it in [pushing back a planned exposition dump about Blue Book, but you can wait on that].
