This page gave me a headscratcher, as I'd innocently planned for there to be regular speech balloons, thought boxes from Sleepy, and also regular speech from Sleepy. Umm? Well, I figured I've been getting along okay so far using colour-tinted boxes to indicate different characters' internal monologues. But how do you show communication between two characters that are physically combined? I thought about using the old chat log-style text boxes, but that felt a bit clunky and would require me to knock up a portrait for Sleepy, which is effort. So we have the solution seen here; Sleepy can essentially talk out loud as well in this form, with the pink tinted text to indicate when they're speaking as opposed to Eric.
I guess it works?
