This was going to be more of a reveal, but I don't think I kept it under wraps very well [it wound up being pretty obvious in her fight with Delirium Trigger, and I know GarbageHazard at least correctly guessed it months ago]. But yes, Smooth Criminal's power is nothing to do with friction specifically.
