This page went through a few re-writes. Originally, Matt was channeling me very directly, and going on about how his emotional state and lack of drive are affecting his inspiration. It became clear that it wasn't really working out, though, because Matt isn't much of an art-person like I am, and it was clearly me complaining about how it's hard to draw comics while depressed, through the mouth of a character who's a… programmer? Whut?

So anyway, this then became one of those few scenes where Eric gets to be me instead, and Matt winds up channeling another friend of mine going through something similar. I believe in you, buddy, you'll get that six-pack someday.
