I can't remember if I've mentioned it before (I feel like I have, but maybe I didn't), but that guy with the glasses who manages the coffee shop is Jacob, Eric's former housemate who he complained about, and then kicked out to make room for Matt. I've had both bosses and housemates who have drained my patience before, so Jacob winds up catching some of the flack from that. He'll be fine, probably.
