Every so often I'll mention a page that I've been waiting to do for a while, but this is one I've been thinking about for literally years. Now it's here, and done, and posted, I am of course unsatisfied, as expected, but hey. It's done now.
Maybe what Eric's saying sounds kind of half-hearted here, but this is the point where I really wanted him to actually say what he needs to say. Niko's had a lot of expectations for him and in some ways has put him on a pedestal, and really he just needed to say that while he may not be that super-capable person she envisions him as, he still wants to be there for her, even if he thinks he can't do much.
As well as that, I really wanted to pair that with visuals that provide a quick recap of all their forms and how we've got here, but also imply that the stronger they get, the further apart they've become. You'll have to bear with me that the visuals aren't 100% literally what's happening- they're not actually going through all their forms on the spot- I just thought it'd look good.
