My grandpa… on the day he died.

Story: he actually passed while I was out doing my route - volunteering with some extra work on a second route, matter of fact - and I got the call just after I starting throwing from my brother that my grandpa had passed in the night. Came to find out later, nobody called me when things started to go bad, so I didn't get a chance to be there when he left us. I thought I could get through the rest of my route without trouble, but the longer I went the more it sank in, and I had to get assistance finishing it so I could get home quicker. The fact he passed so close to Thanksgiving was especially hard… I, personally, was hoping we could give him one last great Thanksgiving dinner before he left, so every Thanksgiving now I try to make a toast or tribute of sorts in his honor.
