Okay, here goes the very first page drawn with my new graphics tablet!!
I have mixed feelings about this - it's a lot more difficult that hand drawing, especially when considering proportions - who knew it'd be so much more difficult figuring out how big faces should be when they're on a screen rather than paper. On the plus side, it is easier to do backgrounds (even though my idea of a background is pretty..simple..look at panel 2, wowwww), and I should be able to colour now!! As you can see I've started with a little greyscale, so I don't get too ahead of myself, but as soon as I'm more comfy I'll do a coloured page every now and then. I hope people don't mind the change, I'm aware that the comic style changes a ridiculous amount. But maybe that makes it more fun? Ahhh!
This page was originally a random comedy script but I wanted to look a bit more into what it is Naoko actually does for a living…a few conversations and hints along the way point to being a thief but not much light has been shed on it. So yes, this is how she makes her money, very ethical :D
