Surely it's happened to you at some point. You're at one end of the room, the guy on the phone is at the other, 50 billion people are wandering around between you and him, and you're both afraid to go wandering across for fear of missing the other in the fuss.

Normally, I'm all for cons banning the carrying of signs, but this is once instance where that sort of thing would really help. Having a nice big "I'M RIGHT HERE!" banner to whip out at a moment's notice would make a lot of things less problematic.
