Well THAT wasn't fun. See, I always try to get my luggage out of the hotel as soon as possible so that I can avoid the check-out rush. This time, though, I needed to cosplay Sunday morning, so I went ahead and packed my "normal" clothes with everything else, planning to change in the van that afternoon. I'd put my hat on top of everything but, one way or another, it ended up at the bottom of the suitcase anyway. Thus, I spent a panic filled minute or two trying to figure out if I'd somehow left the thing in the (now vacant) hotel room. That's a scary prospect, dang it! How is anybody supposed to recognize me without the hat? Why, I'd have to change all my avatars! We can't have that!
