And thus you have witnessed The Day Kilrou Went Mad With Crosshatching. I think I've developed carpal tunnel syndrome…

But here's the rub: my fiendish scanner. I am a person who loves crosshatching more than my parents. My scanner does not. It thinks that anything with lots of little lines is a photo (why is completely beyond me), and consequently makes an image four times the size I like to post and with the edges cut off (hence the missing panel borders). While I would love to express my indignation more eloquently, the only word that comes to mind is, "Graargh."

There's no specific reference in this one, but the style is a sort of homage to Ogred Weary, or Regera Dowdy, or whatever other anagrams of his name he made up. And it's only half coincidential that Ferdy's cousin (you're welcome to decide for yourself whether she might have any other relation to him) looks a bit like Death…
