How many fragments did Laz give you?

About a thousand.

That is a full day of grinding for a millennial. We get half a realm's ring number in frags. 1k frags is like forty ring 50 realms.

He gave you a real bounty.

What are fragments used for anyway?

Stellar Fragments are used to apply modifier items, like your holy symbol, to an equipment or increase an equipment's rank.

Upgrading is really expensive. 1k frags is only 14ish ranks.

14 sounds good.

If you start with a maxed ring 14 equip, you'll get double the rank at 28. At ring 50 though, an average drop would be rank 25.
