Good on Ron for not conforming to Vestraah's progeny hierarchy madness. Pretty much if you haven't caught on yet (or if you haven't read Dead Fingers prior to reading this comic), Mara (Ron's oldest daughter) isn't considered one of the 'Golden kids' like the newborn Omni-twins by Ron's mother and House Vestraah at large. It's a somewhat messed up system that will be delved in to a little deeper later in this chapter!
