If you're wondering plasma, Al is the only one who doesn't really know Kitty that well. As for why Al didn't help Cov in the three hours he was up there, he was being lathargic to the extreme. You'd fall asleep too if your head was stuck in a ceiling on the top floor of a building, there's not even any power conduits to mess with. Tomorrow, Al's and Kitty's date (spoiler, something's going to blow up); as well as Cov's apology (you're not going to beleive what happens).
