Howdy folks!

Well, as much as it pains me, I need to announce that Rick Hershey is going to be taking an undetermined hiatus from Cowboys and Aliens II. I think I worked him too hard and he needs a bit of break, heh. But, never fear, he will be working on a variety of smaller stuff for us, such as the Microrecorders and other small misc. bits and pieces.

Anyway, Rick - thank you for doing such a great job on the project so far! And good luck with all your personal projects and future endeavors!

So, who is going to be taking over the reins? Well, Anthony Cournoyer will be doing all the sequential work now. You may recognize his work from the history and Microrecorder content we've been posting.

And I hope you'll agree, as indicated by today's update, he's coming on strong!

Welcome aboard, Anthony!

I'm definitely interested to see what Anthony does with the content. I think he's got a real distinctive style that, at least I feel, fits the content very well. It's very graphic, much like Rick's, but there is a definite difference in look, which should make for an interesting change. I hope you all agree!

Also, be sure to go and check the forums - Alana has posted some interesting research that she has completed for the project. And I'm also contemplating running some regular behind the scenes artwork on the forums - like thumbnails and roughs for the project. But, it would be waste to do that if nobody actually looked at it! So, be sure to check the forums out - which you can do by clicking the forums button in the upper right hand corner.
