Phone conversations can make economical panel use much harder, thankfully they don't come up all that much. Higgens' office was kind of fun to draw though, (By the way that's Rekki's sword from FanDanGo hanging on his wall!) the last three panels are more to clarify the outcome of the last page: Cricket escaped with her life, although she's a bit freaked out. ——————————— replies: @magickmaker: That's Mr. Prescott, he was introduced some time back. I noticed that Mr. Prescott and Creature are sort of similar with silence the concealing hat and coat look. It's more of a coincidence, or rather something I wasn't thinking when I did it… @dueeast: 7 foot tall bulky guy, creeps out of the shadows and starts following you… can't say I'd blame ya for running. @antcomics: I generally know pages with a lot of heavy blacks are time consuming, but when done right they're very striking. I'm glad you think that I hit the mark! @amanda: I think Cricket's plan is to run to into bakery, lock the door, and hope that this guy's polite enough to not break the door down. Never said it was a good plan but it's the best she could come up with in a moment of panic. @BetaJess: I actually did try specifically to make this page creepy. I don't imagine Cricket as a character that scares easily, so I wanted to make a page where she's afraid and it seems believable. I really hope that I didn't give you nightmares though! @Warpedwenger: Thanks, man! @freakenburger: I've worn coats like that one, they're very warm and great for cold weather. Though the one I wore didn't conceal my face in shadow… that would've been cool though. @crazyninny: Time share? Run Cricket! Run for your LIFE!
