So all you readers out there, if you're still reading I must be doing something right but surely I must be doing something that just makes you go "Errrgh!" or some other sound of frustration. That being said, I suggest you have a look at VUS here: http://www.drunkduck.com/VUS/
This is a community comic where you can make fun of me or a few other DrunkDuck comics!
I've been wanting to show how Cricket and Dee got along for a while. It's already been implied a few times that they didn't get along well. The challenge in writing this is that I didn't want it to seem like either of them is really in the wrong, just that they disagree with one another.

@amanda: Cricket seems to have a thing for cute stripey socks, you just can't see them most of the time because they're covered by her big ol' boots. And that is supposed to be a lady, so Jess doesn't like people who feed birds or something?
@magickmaker: Dee's wearing eyeliner, my guess is that Madeline decided to draw on his face. And those people you mentioned would probably be much happier with their left whozit!

@Trevor: I try to be, and it is difficult to design characters that look original yet believable. I think you do pretty good in that regard yourself!

@Freakenburger: Yep, in War of the Bands she's more of a main character, but she'll start to have a bigger role in Cricket's Creature as well. The statue was kind of fun to put in, when I have a made-up city I like to throw in artifacts like that that indicate a fictional history and make the setting seem more believable. That's the theory… whether it actually works or not is another matter.
@Warped: It's not quite a spinoff, it's more like the character was recast into another role. And it's a collaborative project, (the script for the pages that I drew is actually by amanda and the other two band members are obscure Salt the Holly characters,) that being said you should get in on it!
@BetaJess: Yep, Dee's wearing a kilt. I realized after I drew that page that there's only one person wearing pants.
