Well, my time as a featured comic seems to be over now. Thanks to all the new readers that stopped by and to all the old readers that stuck around. Oh, and in the spirit of Halloween I've decided to start a new horror minicomic which I'll be uploading to Arbitrary Comix, so check it out if that's your thing. Not much to say about this page, it's kinda like a reveal for Cricket. Also what I noticed after the fact is that Cricket's ear piercings have mysteriously swapped sides in this page. How does she do it? ———————— replies: @usedbooks: Haha! I guess that's true. One thing that I wanted to show is that Creature actually is very smart and likes messing around with sciencey stuff and building things. The initial idea behind him doing this was to see how much I could get across without using text. I also figured that he'd try to use writing as way to get around not being able to talk. @BetaJess: Well yes, it does that too. @Peipei: Not saying at the moment, though the people that think it's a flying machine are close. @magickmaker: Yes, he's the littlest mad scientist! @Steely_Gaze: Thanks! Although I think you're the first person to compliment me on using freehand panels. I may actually switch to using a see-thru ruler to draw panels, y'know like a normal person. Skullbie actually gave me a good idea for drawing straighter panels but keeping the organic look of the freehand ones, I'm still working on it… @Cirdan: Close, not quite an ornithopter though. Although I do like those a lot! @amanda: Haha! Being that Creature's an alien I'm not sure he fully appreciates top hats the way we do. Higgins is supposed to be a noted scientist in this universe so there's bound to be a few textbooks written by him here and there. And yes, wings! @dueeast: Thanks! I like your linework a lot too! @Trevor: Though it's doubtful that you'll find your alien pal in the couch cushions. Not impossible though! @JNP: It's funny that you shoud say that because at one point I considered doing a spinoff comic for when this one ends. Basically it involved Cricket getting abducted by Creature's people. The title that was suggested to me for that was "Creature's Cricket." @Zephyrion: Thanks! @Videospirit: Not quite, although I do admit that this whole comic is totally copping the premise of that movie!
