To… somewhere else it seems. About an hour ago I realized that there was no way I was going to finish my page for today on time. I scrawled this out just so I'd have some sort of image to upload while I try feebly to explain myself. What can I say, I'm feeling overwhelmed by side projects and try to get some reading done as well. Plus the holiday season tends to bring me down so I find it hard to do anything. The short of it is that you can expect a real update instead of a cop-out next week and hopefully this'll be the last one for a good long while. ————————- replies: @usedbooks: Hanging around Cricket will bring out the delinquent in ya! After about a month Creature'll be shoplifting and drawing graffiti! @ulthor: That's a good idea! @Peipei: Take any activity and add fire and explosions and Cricket will probably like it. @magickmaker: She does, Cricket loves causing trouble! @Willicus: Very boom. @amanda: Yeah, another reason why I hate work. Sometime I feel like I AM being worked to death. I wish they'd let me take a vacation! Ah, well. I'll always get time off after I quit! @Zephyrion: What's the image for your avatar? it's cool! @Trevor: As long as yer cool with it! At the very least I'd find it funny, and it would give me something fun to write to my friends back home. @Warped: What do I get for treasure? @JNP: I was sort of second-guessing that. I did a silhouette panel partly because it would've been a really complicated pose otherwise. I'm glad you think it works though! @Steely Gaze: Well if fire and destruction was the original purpose. Otherwise it's just a bonus. I think a lot about pacing, even if it might seem like I don't. I'm happy that for the most part readers seem to think that the pacing works. I drew Creature's eyes white for the fact that if he's in silhouette he doesn't look like much without the eyes. You're right too. Internet baked goods are never as good as the non-digital variety. Does enabling cookies make your browser more delicious? No. No, it never does. @Cirdan: I do like Creature as a character too. Cricket's yet to have a talk with a policeman that went well so she's not eager to have another one.
