Hold That Thought

I revised the dialogue in the second panel about three times and I'm still not 100% happy with it. After some text-heavy pages before this page it came as a welcome rest from lettering.

@usedbooks: I'm glad that somebody likes him, in my mind he's one of only a few nice people in this comic too. And with all the stone and brick buildings and not a tree in sight it does seem a bit like Europe. Viva la Resistance!
@cameron11691: Always great to have a new reader, thanks! I checked out some of your comics too, I like how you color.
@ulthor: Ollie might one day marry a girl like Cricket, I can't be sure it would be Cricket herself though.
@Peipei: Ollie's mother probably doesn't like Cricket because she steals, lies, wears weird clothes and smells funny. The way I imagine it is Dee and Cricket were two friends that Ollie's mother didn't approve of him having.
@Steely Gaze: Ollie is generally Cricket's only trustworthy friend and one of the few people that genuinely likes her. I had fun with that bicycle, I like bikes even though I hardly ever ride mine anymore it seems. So France then? I guess the name "St. Loraine" does sound kind of French now that you mention it.
@amanda: That's not true! it gets colder that 70 degrees in space! That being said this comic must take place in space.
@Zephyrion: Thanks!
@Trevor: Haha! You're right. I imagine Ollie's mother is in her mid-forties, (I imagine she had Ollie when she was pretty young,) unfortunately I've always found that age hard to get right, I'm always drawing them looking too old or too young. I liked the first three panels too. Especially the second panel for the fact that I didn't need to worry about balloon placement. (new Temple story's looking great by the way!)
@Warped: That works too!

    Excellent way to show action. It's all progressing like a really cool animated series.

    I actually think that his name would be something special, like Vrix or ntac-xann, bur thats purely speculation.

    Age is a tricky thing to get down. I find that I draw all of my characters to look somewhere around 20-30 (which is where I am age wise). I would recommend looking at actresses that are older but still beautiful. Google is great for pictures of celebrities. :)

    And thanks for the compliments on the new Temple story. Olivia and I have been slaving over it for you. :D

    Huh, actually I wonder why I never thought of that either. What could Creature's real name be? I bet he's scribbling it down right now, and since our creepy fiend has just shown up, we aren't going to get to see!

    That last panel is utterly sinister. Run Cricket! Run!

    I'm lucky that my mom doesn't badger me about the grandkids thing. I know she'd love to have some, but my brother and I are both very independent, set-in-our-ways people who show no signs of settling down quite yet. ^.^ My dad already HAS grandkids (and great grandkids) from his first marriage, so he could care less, haha. I wonder what Creature's real name is - probably something really simple like Roger. Or could be something really fancy, like William Thaddeus Herrington IV.

    Hehehe. It's perfectly normal to marry at the age of 14 in some cultures Hehehe xD.

    Ack! Mysterious coat man in the alley ruuuun! xD

    This does not bode well.

    Mothers… *Rolls eyes.* Marriage is for thirty or forty-somethings who've exhausted all other interesting things to do in life. (Or no longer have the energy for those things.)

    Ack! Coat guy! RUN!!
