Interservice fraternization between humans is frowned upon much less than that between vampires, since vampires from the Army and the Navy belong to different clans. Any unauthorized links between them are not welcome, especially by the Arbiter clan.

The official motto of the Three Star Alliance, by the way, is “Ex statera unitatis” (From balance - unity).
