Page 1 - Welcome to Drayark

The first page and already I've challenged myself to try new things. The first thing is the aerial view of Drayark, the location my comic is set in. I looked up several fantasy maps and aerial photos of natural environments to make sure I get it right. As you can see, it has multiple physical environments. Forest, desert, canyons, swamp, tundra, islands, and that big mountain. But perhaps my biggest struggle is trying to convince myself that Drayark is bigger than depicted in the panel; it's supposed to be about the size of Korea. I never drew physical environments so basically this entire page was a reason to challenge myself and even if they may not look so good, at least I tried. :)

For the next page, the protagonist and his sister get introduced.
