OK, major plot development here. Priestess Talla trained Ghost from the time he was a little boy, slowly teaching him to use his shadow powers and the light side of Voodoo magic in preparation for his duty as a defender of the Sword of Light and it's wielder. Valahandra has guarded the Sword of Light, about which we've already heard a bit in Mika's evil rantings, for thousands of years. And now Maverik has learned his destiny as the Sword's wielder. I'd have Ghost's 'Oh, shit' look on my face too if I'd just figured all that out. XD
