For those of you following TORCHWOOD, you might see an example of how a world without Death wouldn't exactly be paradise.  We weren't inspired by that—nor they us—just coincidence. (Although it's eerie how much the cult "The Soulless" looks like the Character Assassins earlier in the story…)
We'll see some more concrete examples later in the story.
I liked the way I drew a lot of these characters, although I'm not totally satisfied with Yuuki on panel one.  It was fun to draw the Knight unmasked, since he can't eat through his helmet.—Al
