I learned a lot of my comedic timing from classic TV. My favorite is the slow thinker. The one who requires an extra second or so to catch on. I love slow takes like, "Hey, waaiiiiiit a minute!"

I'm probably also channeling a bit of Bob Bell and Roy Brown for stuff like this. (Google them!)

My original pitch to this was that Mindmistress was so smart that she could basically talk Dasien into giving up personal information without Das even being aware of it, similar to the way illusionist Derren Brown does. Of course, Al wouldn't let me get away with that without an explanation, so I had to give one.
