This is following up on an earlier team-up between Mindmistress and Lightbringer that ran in the Crossover wars, starting here and ending here . They actually got along pretty well, then. Lewis wanted LB to be mind-wiped, so that, on his part anyway, it would seem like Lightbringer's first meeting with MM—and also, we can see a source of friction between MM and Lightbringer, who wouldn't take very kindly to mental manipulation.

Mr. Threat is a minor villain from EVIL INC. and was used with the creator's permission.

The group is in MM's dimension-crossing "catwalk" making their way to the destination Ringo mentioned. There's going to be a lot of cutting back and forth this chapter, between our main characters and their opponents—and you're going to get a better grasp of the group dynamics of both.
