First off, much thanks to Kaja and Phil Foglio, and their "minion", Alice Bentley, for permission to mention the engaging, gorgeously drawn gaslamp fantasy/reality in which GIRL GENIUS takes place, as shown by the mention of Mechanicsburg and the Heterodynes—of course the most famous Heterodyne is Agatha Heterodyne, the aforementioned Girl Genius.
