This place looks a lot like the "Time Enough at Last" episode of the Twilight Zone, doesn't it?

To back track a little, Hooli and Debbie are referring back to an event that took place atop the Greenpoint Water Tower, in which the human Hooli was killed by an embodiment of Chaos shaped like Robert E. Lee. Debbie really did try to intervene but was sealed inside her null space by the avatar of Chaos.

Shortly thereafter, the demon Hooli appeared. And so, here we are.
