Algeya once again provides the art for this week's comic. And that's my handwriting making all of those onomatopoeias. Yes, there is absolutely no syntax in today's comic. It's all sound effects and baby noises.
One of the weirdest ones is when he lands, it says "BUN!". I swiped that from an episode of Dragonball Z. I think it's early in the Cell Saga, on Bulma's capsule gadgets literally makes that noise. Japanese people have strange interpretations of noises.
I figured that the only proper send-off for Uber-Red was to drop him into a world where not only is everything immune to his brute strength, but it can keep him in line should he misbehave.
The rabbit-like creatures are not actually rabbits. They're called frappies. They're from a long-defunct concept of mine from way back. They were intended to live in an enchanted forest of ice, hence the name frappy (as in frappe). Contextually, they're out of place in this land of sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows, but I wanted to use them anyway.
The noises that they make are meant to be peeping noises, so it should sound like "Pee! Pee!". Yes, go ahead and get it out of your system. We'll appreciate the bathroom humor here. We're sick people.
The frappies are kind of a weird combination of different disturbingly cutesy things. They're part Hello Kitty, part mogwi, and part Peter Puppy from Earthworm Jim. And then of course, there's the old video game trope which says that if you ever encounter an extremely cute enemy in an RPG, you should run away immediately, because it will destroy you!
Frappies may look cute, but they have a mean streak if you push them around. Made entirely of fluff, they can split apart and even merge into one gigantic UBER-FRAPPY!
