Ah, a cheesy lens flare effect.

I was actually using the word balloons template from Blambot.com for this issue before I started making my own for all other issues. I found it harder to try and fit our dialogue in pre-made balloons. The motion effect in the last panel has since been streamlined in later issues as well.
