Echoes Through Time - Pg 71 "Into the maelstrom"

Things aren't looking good for Cru and the gang. They're up a creek without a paddle and headed right for the heart of The Maelstrom. It's not the PERFECT storm but it's still pretty damn big as you can tell from the view in space.

I know this page is only three panels but that storm effect in 1-2 takes quite a bit of time to create, not to mention that final giant frame which was made from scratch (aside from the stars and moon) using the new 3D tools in Adobe Photoshop CS4. Creating that hurricane was a lot easier when working in a three dimensional workspace.

Due to a split pipe in the upstairs apartment my kitchen, foyer and part of my bedroom were flooded Friday at 7 A.M. Because I've spent most of the weekend cleaning and moving furniture I haven't had the time to make Monday's update and depending on when management decides to replace all the floor tiling (and possibly my bedroom carpet) I may not be able to update for Thursday this week either. We'll see.
