Echoes Through Time - Pg 82 "When the oceans dry"

A period of time passes as Chromie goes over the events that have occurred. If you can get through the lengthy text in the first panel then you are a trooper.
I know Cru's recap is long but it's a hell of a lot shorter than what Chromie said during that new chapter page.
I promise to avoid any more wordy panels for quite some time after this.

Sunday night I drove to get mexican for supper and found my engine was revving way too high and was having problems upshifting. When I got back home the engine was smoking a good amount and it had trouble starting again. Of course this just had to happen two days before I need to drive to the dentist for the appointment I've been waiting a month for.

Can I just get a vacation from things breaking or going wrong around here? Two pipes in the ceiling burst and leak several times (the foyer is still a mess and hasn't been completely fixed by management for two months now), I need dental work which I'm in severe pain from and have been waiting a month to get into the dentist's office, and now something is wrong with my transmission.

/facepalm

::UPDATE 3/2/2009::
Congratulations to my friend Chris and his girlfriend who just had their second kid on Sunday, March 1st. Now I'm gonna cut your balls off Chris so you don't spawn any more demon seeds.

::UPDATE 3/4/2009::
Got back from the dentist and started feeling ill later that afternoon, now I'm sick with the chills and shakes. On top of that the mechanic called back and said the transmission in my car is completely shot (after it leaked all of it's fluid the night before my dentist appointment) and it will cost $1,750 to replace it with a new used one. I'm not physically or mentally fit to make Thursday's update but I'll try this weekend if I'm feeling better. If not then the comic will resume on Monday.
