I think Genejoke's comment here speaks for itself about the page:

Usually I leave the comments here to Elektro, however I want a say, bare in mind this is my interpretation of his script not strictly what was planned.

Glen is a victim of guilt and shame as shown last page. I think he would have likely defied his parents had he not snapped, now having learned to bottle it up for many a year he has finally reached breaking point.
