Lane's a nice guy for taking in Alec. Of course, Alec will essentially be Lane's hired goon, but taking down thugs and standing up for the opressed is something Alec does naturally and even enjoys.

I know this particular page is dated now, given that Whoopi doesn't do Hollywood Squares anymore, but you can apply this comic to any half-hearted piece of crap she's starring in today.
