Being in a foreign country for your first few days is absolutely
surreal.  It's surprising just how different everything can be.  The
disorientation is actually a bit exciting, as there's always that sense
of discovery.  You're not just seeing weird things, but smelling new
smells, hearing strange music, and feeling a different kind of
atmosphere.  Making these latest pages didn't just remind me of my own
time in Japan, it reminded me of why I made this comic in the first
place.
